When to start practising
A spoken exam tests whether you can retrieve what you know, structure it and say it clearly under pressure. That improves with repetition, not reading, so most candidates need six to eight weeks of regular spoken practice on top of their knowledge revision. For the week commencing 16 November 2026 sitting, that means starting by 21 September 2026. Short daily sessions work better than occasional long ones.
