Rehearse for your Community Sexual & Reproductive Health ST1 interview against an AI interviewer who challenges your answers. Get feedback on any session you finish, in seconds.
What is the Community Sexual & Reproductive Health ST1 interview, and how do you practise for it?
A single online panel interview of about 30 minutes (two assessors, with lay representative input) assessing general professional capabilities in four areas: Communication (a prepared presentation), Specialty Interest, Teamwork and Data Handling. The four areas are sections of one interview, not separate stations, and the time given to each is not published. Here each area is practised as its own section of about 8 minutes, one examiner voice speaks for the panel, and the full mock runs all four back to back. MedMock lets you practise it out loud against an AI interview panel, with examiner-style feedback on any station you finish.

About Community Sexual & Reproductive Health (ST1) recruitment
Community Sexual and Reproductive Health ST1, 2025 recruitment round (Round 1). NHS England competition ratios
- NHS England East of England coordinates the national recruitment process for Community Sexual and Reproductive Health ST1 posts. The interviews are hosted online.
- The selection centre is a single 30-minute online video interview on the Qpercom Vids system. The panel has two assessors, administrative support and lay representative input.
- The interview covers four domains: Communication (a PowerPoint-based presentation), Specialty Interest, Data Handling and Teamwork. Marks are out of 60 from each of 2 interviewers, 120 in total.
- Not all applicants are invited to the selection centre. The Multi-Specialty Recruitment Assessment (MSRA) is used to decide who is invited, by ranking order and places available.
- The interview does not test advanced specialty knowledge. Previous experience in the specialty is not required for ST1, so questions reflect generic competences.
- The programme is a six-year run-through specialty training programme starting at ST1, with basic training in Years 1 to 3, intermediate training in Years 4 and 5 and advanced training in Year 6.
Checked on 13 October 2026 against CSRH Applicants Guide (NHS England East of England) and Community Sexual and Reproductive Health (NHS England East of England). Recruitment changes each year: confirm on the official pages before you apply.
