What is the MFOM OSCE, and how do you practise for it?
The Faculty of Occupational Medicine's MFOM Part 2 is a single best answer paper and a 12-station OSCE: four history taking, three examination, four explanation and one procedures station, each 10 minutes with 2 minutes' reading and two examiners. These two practice stations group the OSCE's history taking and explanation stations by type: taking an occupational history from a worker with a possible work-related condition, and explaining occupational health advice, reports and statutory frameworks to patients and stakeholders. The examination and procedures stations are hands-on and are not simulated. MedMock lets you practise it out loud against an AI patient, with examiner-style feedback on any station you finish.

Practise every station
The MFOM Part 2 OSCE has twelve stations: four history taking, three examination, four explanation and one procedures. MedMock practises the history taking and explanation stations with a simulated patient. The examination and procedures stations are hands-on and are not simulated.
History Taking Station
Take a detailed occupational history from a simulated worker — presenting complaint, occupational history, exposures, functional assessment, fitness for work, and reasonable adjustments.
Explanation Station
Explain an occupational health matter to a worker, manager, or stakeholder — interpretation of workplace risks, fitness-for-work advice, OH report content, statutory framework, or breaking bad news of an occupational disease.

How does the feedback work?
When you finish a station you can have it marked, and the scorecard comes back in seconds — what you did well, what cost you marks, and exactly what to work on next. Scorecards, mark schemes and model answers are included at no extra credit cost.
Can I practise specific MFOM stations?
Yes. You can pick either station to drill a weak area, or run a Full Mock that takes you through the stations MedMock practises, back to back.
How much does it cost?
You can start with a one-off £5 taster: 30 credits, which is 30 minutes of speaking practice, with no subscription. After that, or at any time, you can choose a monthly plan, which includes a monthly credit allowance. Current prices are on the pricing page.
Formats change from year to year: check the official candidate guidance or applicant handbook from the body that runs your exam or interview (the Royal Colleges, NHS England, the GMC and others) for your sitting.
