What is the Stroke Medicine ST4 interview, and how do you practise for it?

Stroke Medicine ST4 national interview, recruited through the Physician Specialty Recruitment Office: two 10-minute stations with four scored questions. Station 1 is your application and training, then a balanced argument on a stroke service or research question; Station 2 is your prepared case presentation, then suitability for and commitment to stroke medicine. There is no clinical case and no reading time. MedMock lets you practise it out loud against an AI interview panel, with examiner-style feedback on any station you finish.

Stroke Medicine ST4 interview practice, on demand

MedMock gives you an AI interviewer who challenges your answers, available 24/7. Pick a station, have a spoken conversation, and ask for examiner-style feedback when you finish, scored against what genuinely matters in the Stroke Medicine ST4.

How it works

1

Choose a station

Choose the kind of question or scenario you want to rehearse — ethics, motivation, a role-play, and more.

2

Have the conversation

Speak naturally, out loud. The AI interviewer listens and asks the demanding follow-ups, just as a real interviewer would.

3

Get instant feedback

The moment you finish, you get specific, examiner-style feedback and a score — what you did well, what cost you marks, and precisely what to fix before the next attempt.

Practise every scenario

MedMock covers the stations you will face in the Stroke Medicine ST4 interview. Rehearse each one until it feels routine.

1

Case Presentation and Commitment

Station 2: your prepared three-minute presentation on an interesting case you have been involved in, or a case that has changed your practice, with questions on it, then questions on your suitability for and commitment to stroke medicine.

2

Application, Training and Stroke Service

Station 1: questions on your application, career, achievements and engagement with training, then you are asked to argue both sides of a stroke service or research question and reach a view. Despite the practice station's name, there is no clinical case.
