Urology ST3, 2025 recruitment round (Round 2). NHS England competition ratios
- The National Recruitment Office for ST3 Urology is NHS England North East and Yorkshire, which recruits to ST3 posts across the United Kingdom.
- In the 2026 round, the Urology interview had four 13-minute stations: an outpatient scenario, an emergency scenario, communication and skills.
- In 2026, Urology interviews were held online via Qpercom. Applicants could bring paper notes and make notes during the interview, but not use an electronic device or books.
- In 2026, Urology applicants were shortlisted using their validated self-assessment score, with the highest scoring applicants invited to interview. A panel of clinicians reviewed the uploaded evidence.
- For 2026 Urology entry, applicants had to have completed all parts of the MRCS exam by the date initial offers were released, 14 April 2026, and have CT1 and CT2 core surgery competences by appointment.
- For 2027 entry, Urology ST3 applications open at 10am on 19 November and close at 4pm on 10 December 2026. A round 2 is not expected in 2027.
