Clinical Genetics ST3 interview practice, on demand

MedMock gives you an AI interviewer who challenges your answers, available 24/7. Pick a station, have a spoken conversation, and ask for examiner-style feedback when you finish, scored against what genuinely matters in the Clinical Genetics ST3.

How it works

1

Choose a station

Choose the kind of question or scenario you want to rehearse — ethics, motivation, a role-play, and more.

2

Have the conversation

Speak naturally, out loud. The AI interviewer listens and asks the demanding follow-ups, just as a real interviewer would.

3

Get instant feedback

The moment you finish, you get specific, examiner-style feedback and a score — what you did well, what cost you marks, and precisely what to fix before the next attempt.

Practise every scenario

MedMock covers the stations you will face in the Clinical Genetics ST3 interview. Rehearse each one until it feels routine.

1

Station 1 — Clinical Scenario, Research and Service

Question 1 (about 10 minutes): a clinical scenario of two or three sentences to review for a short while, then the steps you would take, management, further information and how you would communicate with patients, families and colleagues. Question 2 (about 5 minutes): research and service, on new technologies and their introduction into the NHS, with no information in advance. Communication is marked across the whole station.

2

Station 2 — Application, Training and Suitability

Question 1 (about 8 minutes): application and training, reviewing your career, achievements and engagement with training. Question 2 (about 7 minutes): your suitability for and commitment to training in clinical genetics. There is no material to read in this station.
