About Forensic Histopathology (ST3) recruitment

  • Histopathology is the route of entry into forensic (autopsy) pathology, as well as paediatric and perinatal pathology and diagnostic neuropathology.
  • Forensic pathologists train in histopathology before specialising later.
  • The Royal College of Pathologists anticipates that five years would normally be needed to complete the forensic histopathology curriculum, including 2.5 years of Integrated Cellular Pathology Training and 2.5 years of histopathology training, to achieve a CCT.
  • Training requires FRCPath Part 1 in Histopathology and FRCPath Part 2 in Forensic Pathology.
  • The Diploma in Forensic Pathology is an alternative route to becoming a consultant forensic pathologist for those who have completed their histopathology specialty training.

Forensic Histopathology ST3 interview practice, on demand

MedMock gives you an AI interviewer who challenges your answers, available 24/7. Pick a station, have a spoken conversation, and ask for examiner-style feedback when you finish, scored against what genuinely matters in the Forensic Histopathology ST3.

How it works

1

Choose a station

Choose the kind of question or scenario you want to rehearse — ethics, motivation, a role-play, and more.

Have the conversation

Speak naturally, out loud. The AI interviewer listens and asks the demanding follow-ups, just as a real interviewer would.

3

Get instant feedback

The moment you finish, you get specific, examiner-style feedback and a score — what you did well, what cost you marks, and precisely what to fix before the next attempt.

Practise every scenario

MedMock covers the stations you will face in the Forensic Histopathology ST3 interview. Rehearse each one until it feels routine.
